Communication is the foundation for a fulfilling life. Seeing my clients participate in the daily activities of their choice, at the highest levels possible, is my personal source of inspiration and satisfaction.
As a speech-language pathologist specializing in improving communication and cognitive skills, I have helped my clients for over thirty years to achieve their goals in home, community, school, and workplace settings.
Collaborating with individuals who have neurogenic communication disorders, and others in their social networks, together we create customized, creative, and effective solutions.
Strategies include individual and group assessment/treatment, training in self-advocacy for communicative access and necessary accommodations, and providing direct communication support in financial, medical, legal, and other important situations. Personal technologies play a key role in supporting independence and social connections.
