The Bruce Willis story
On March 30, 2022, Bruce Willis’ family shared the news that he has been diagnosed with aphasia and has, consequently, retired from acting.
This news prompted many calls to the Aphasia Institute from journalists who wanted to learn more. Elyse provided a number of interviews. She explained how having aphasia changes communication skills for the individual and how family members, friends, and co-workers can help.
